Cozy studio living… Velvet textures, terrazzo floors, and a vintage Moldavian rug

A complete renovation of a Paris studio apartment designed to feel warm, expressive, and inviting despite its compact size.

The project focused on transforming the atmosphere of the space through layered materials, custom details, and a mix of textures that bring softness and personality into the apartment. An extended kitchen, custom cabinetry, oak parquet flooring, textured zellige inspired tiles, terrazzo flooring, velvet finishes, and carefully considered lighting create a studio that feels both elegant and deeply comfortable to live in.

At the center of the project is a vintage Moldavian rug, whose rich tones and texture helped shape the direction of the interiors and tie the different spaces together. Artwork, collected objects, and decorative pieces sourced over time bring depth and individuality to the apartment, creating a home that feels creative, lived in, and full of character.
